Bishop accuses Jews of planning the world rule of Antichrist

In a Catholic Herald investigation published today, Bishop Richard Williamson, a senior English prelate of the Society of St Pius X (SSPX), is exposed as a poisonous anti-Semite and 9/11 conspiracy theorist who believes that Jews are working on behalf of Antichrist.

Scandalously, the SSPX – a breakaway Catholic sect founded by the ultra-traditionalist French Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre – is supporting Bishop Williamson. Moreover, a spokesman for the Society has refused to condemn The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a notorious anti-Semitic forgery circulated by the Nazis – and endorsed on the record by Bishop Williamson.

Here is the Herald’s report, which is based on our tape-recorded transcript of an interview with Bishop Williamson, one of four priests ordained bishop by Lefebvre in 1988 and excommunicated by John Paul II as a result.

Williamson, 67, a former Anglican educated at Winchester and Cambridge, has left his anti-Semitic rantings all over the internet. In this pastoral letter, for example, he writes: “However, until [the Jews] re-discover their true Messianic vocation, they may be expected to continue fanatically agitating, in accordance with their false messianic vocation of Jewish world-dominion, to prepare the Anti-Christ’s throne in Jerusalem.”

You can see and hear Williamson in action on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooGBMFShUVo, in a series of films in which he claims that the Twin Towers were brought down by controlled explosions. This is a man who never met a conspiracy theory he didn’t like. Yet, for 20 years, the Society of St Pius X has afforded him a place of honour as one of its four senior bishops.

The SSPX is currently negotiating with the Vatican about returning to full Communion with the Holy See. It should have expelled Williamson before the talks started. Now it is too late.

Talks between the Holy See and the SSPX have been ongoing for two decades, so the idea of SSPX ‘expelling’ one ot their (illicitly ordained) bishops before commencing talks was never really an option. But in any case, the SSPX is not a corporation and Bishop Williamson is not a corporate officer who can be dumped for saying embarassing, stupid and hateful things. He is not ‘afforded a place of honour’ by the SSPX; he is an ordained bishop (the ordination was illicit, not invalid — and needless to say the SSPX do not accept the judgement of excommunication imposed by John Paul II), ergo he holds his position by apostolic right, not as something afforded him by members of the Society.

This puts both the Society and the Holy See in a difficult position vis a vis Williamson and his frankly nutbar ideas. A bishop, or any clergy, in communion with the Bishop of Rome may be subject to censure from the Holy See, but how do you censure someone who has already been excommunicated? The SSPX don’t have any mechanism to censure, suspend or expell Williamson, since he has as much authority as any of the other SSPX bishops. In a nutshell, either all the SSPX bishops have valid apostolic authority or none of them do.

I like the idea behind this blog but it seems that this is an example of something that can’t really be considered counterknowledge.

What evidence is there that “the jews” aren’t working for the Anti-Christ? I don’t see that what this bishop is claiming is anymore irrational than belief that there is an Anti-Christ at all.

What evidence is there that “the jews” aren’t working for the Anti-Christ? I don’t see that what this bishop is claiming is anymore irrational than belief that there is an Anti-Christ at all.

I suppose that if “the jews” were some sort of objective “other” then it might seem perfectly reasonable to speak that way, but Jews are human beings, who are capable of speaking for themselves about “who they work for,” how they interpret scripture, the theology of Judaism, and the moral and ethical precepts of the religion and culture. (Indeed, there is no “anti-Christ” in Jewish theology.)

On the other hand, Bishop Williamson, is not merely not Jewish, but apparently ignorant of Jewish theology, and is merely repeating ancient slurs. Indeed, his only credentials as an authority on Judaism is being a Bishop of an excommunicated Catholic sect. Should a Bishop of any Christian sect be considered a greater authority on Judaism than Jewish scholars, who have their own rich traditions of theological, and ethical writings?

The point is, whether or not the subjects of religious belief are objectively true or not– one can, in an intellectually rigorous manner, state a religion’s teachings on these subjects, and as such, it is obvious that Bishop Williamson’s teachings regarding “the jews” do not correalate up with anything about Jews and Judaism that can can be learnt through an intellectually honest inquiry. So S.A.’s question is merely anti-Semitic sophistry.

S.A., if some influential jerk went around the world lecturing on how dangerous you and your family were and that you are the Satanic Anti-Christ – as your initials appear to suggest – I suppose you’d have no problem with that? And if the followers of that jerk were whipped up into a violent frenzy of hatred against you and your family to the point where many started targeting you and your family for persecution and even violence, why you’d have no problem with that either, because there would be no obvious evidence against what that jerk had been saying about you? Well, I’m Jewish, I don’t like people inciting others against me or members of my family. I’ve already lost most of my family in WWII precisely because of the Bishop’s type of rubbishing against my people. You are a cold-blooded ignoramus and a hypocrite to boot.

I hadn’t realised how intimate the connection was between 9/11 dissent and anti-semitism. This bishop and his kind must be stopped. Nothing should distract us from the task of stamping out this kind of anti-semitic, anti-Zionist incitement. The Jewish people have suffered enough – never again must we permit propaganda that stirs up hatred of the Jewish people or attacks on their religion or the Jewish state.

Anti-semitism is a pervasive and uniquely evil tendency in the Christian-Muslim world, and ever-increasing – witness the Islamic terrorists in Gaza and the West Bank, etc). The anti-semitic movement extends to supposedly ‘decent’ people like Jimmy Carter, who I hear has published a supposedly ‘factual’ book that apparently contains virulent hate-speech against the Jewish state, exposing his involvement in anti-semitism.

Some 9/11 truthers may be unaware of their motivation, and in a few cases, even be acting in good faith and only inadvertently supporting neo-nazi genocide. But this does not alter the fact that their claims are morally bankrupt, bolstering as they do antisemitism and murderous hate.

It is unjustifiable to give any credence to theories like this by addressing their claims on equal terms – to sink to their level would play into the hands of the anti-semites behind the 9/11 movement.

I’m told that my previous post is too subtle and may not be recognised as a spoof. Well, it is. And in case I accidentally help to bolster the very prejudices I was lampooning, let me state a few facts in a rather tiresomely literal manner:

The 9/11 movement obviously has nothing to do with anti-semitism.

There are plenty much more important things to be concerned about than this bishop character and his ramblings.

Anti-semitism is not the same as criticism of Judaism or Israel, is not pervasive, and is not uniquely evil.

Palestinian suicide bombers aren’t motivated by some kind of free-floating anti-semitism (or do they just happen to be the only group of anti-semites that are so fervent in their unreasoned hatred that they are willing to blow themselves up?)

Jimmy Carter isn’t an anti-semite, his book is factual, and ‘hate-speech’ is a spurious category invented as a way of suppressing certain opinions.

As for the last two paragraphs their absurdity is surely obvious: unaware of their motivation? supporting neo-nazi genocide? morally bankrupt? bolstering antisemitism and murderous hate? unjustifiable to address their claims? equal terms? sink to their level? play into the hands of the anti-semites?

nuff said, surely.

Anti-semitism is not the same as criticism of Judaism or Israel…

It depends on whether the critic a.) is motivated by animus towards Jews and Judaism; b.) has made little or no effort to determine the facts of the matter and interpret them in the proper context; and c.) treats Judaism, Israel, or “The Jews” as a monolithic entity. If the answer to a, b, or c is in the affirmative, it’s not unreasonable to ask if the critic is anti-Semitic.

Palestinian suicide bombers aren’t motivated by some kind of free-floating anti-semitism (or do they just happen to be the only group of anti-semites that are so fervent in their unreasoned hatred that they are willing to blow themselves up?)

Palestinian suicide bombers are disproportionately troubled teenagers who fall under the influence of older political and religious extremists who send young people on these missions that they would never go on themselves. The leaders of these terrorist cells are ideologically anti-Semites. The bombers are frequently non-ideological themselves and engaged in the magical thinking and impulsiveness that is so common amongst adolescents.

Another population of suicide bombers are women who either because of their own sexual behavior or for being sexually assaulted are slated for “honor killings”– but they are given the option of making themselves martyrs instead of being killed by the men of their family.

Jimmy Carter isn’t an anti-semite, his book is factual…

Carter is probably not an anti-Semite in the traditional sense, but his understanding of Israel is shaped greatly by the theology of the Southern Baptist convention, which has some particularly odd ideas about Jews and Israel. The “Israel” that Carter is criticizing, isn’t the Israel that most Israelis or diaspora Jews would recognize but the Southern Baptist fantasy of “Israel” and Carter can’t tell the difference.

I reply:

(a) = ‘Is anti-semitic’.

(b) Facts are facts – what is all this about ‘interpret them in the proper context’?

(c) Judaism, Israel are indeed entities – not sure how many stones they are made of.

And, most importantly, it may be reasonable in some cases to wonder whether someone is anti-semitic (if you are so concerned to categorise the private thoughts of others). That is not the same as publicly asking rhetorical questions about such a possibility.

What an odd bunch those Palestinians are. Must be something in the water.

I reply:

Well done for accepting that a critic of Israel is (’probably’) not an anti-semite (’in the traditional sense’). It’s a shame you couldn’t be a bit less grudging about it.

As for the new, nebulous kind of anti-semitism which you insinuate he does exhibit, that’s just baffling. You don’t deny that his book is factual, and that it criticises Israel – what on earth is all this stuff about ‘which Israel’? That’s just a really staggering bit of obfuscation. Carter knows, you know and I know which Israel he is talking about. Everybody knows which Israel he’s talking about: Israel, that’s which Israel he’s talking about.

Hi, all. Nice site…I really like your site ! Good job man.h

Unfortunately, Richard Williamson is not an embarassment for the Society of Saint Pius X. He is a particularly confident voice for a general anti-semitic consciousness within the Society. As such he is the voice for many priests, seminarians and laypersons. Holocaust denial is a well-known, if not commonly held dogma. It is widely believed that Freemasonry and Communism are devices of a world-wide, synchronised conspiracy on the part of the Jews to subvert the Catholic Church. Right wing regimes are often upheld as most beneficial to Society, especially if those regimes are friendly to the Catholic Church. Parish libraries possess copies of the Protocols and other anti-semitic (and indeed, anti -anything -that -is -not -Catholic) literature. In fact, any conspiracy theory at all is likely to find a home in the Society of St Pius X. The weakness of Williamson for conspiracy theories is not Williamson’s alone. I know these things because I spent time in Society seminaries. It has all the hallmarks of a cult.

Age Old Canards!

“The age-old canards about Jews and money are always just beneath the surface,” ADL national director Abraham Foxman said.

“As we witnessed after 9/11, whenever there is trouble or uncertainty in the economy or world events, Jews become the scapegoats, and ugly anti-Semitic canards are given new life.”

============================================

Friends, let us reason together… what one feature do the following gents all have in common? Hint: it’s not the cut of their noses:

Bernard Madoff… $50 Billion USD swindled from investors in a self-described “Ponzi scheme”.

Marc Dreier… New York lawyer who embezzled $380 million USD from his customers.

Lou Pearlman… One time manager of the Backstreet Boys. $300 million USD swindled in a Ponzi scheme.

Neal Sher… Holocaust lawyer and former OSI prosecutor of John Demjanjuk (who was mistakenly/falsely prosecuted as a former concentration camp guard, “Ivan the Terrible”.) Embezzled an unstated amount from the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims (ICHEIC)

Andy Fastow… Former CFO of Enron. Famed for his creative balance sheet “modifications” that showed Enron turning a good profit, when in fact it was racking up huge losses.

Jack Abramoff… Washington DC lobbyist, tax evader, embezzler. Best known for swindling a number of AmerIndian tribes out of tens of millions $USD while supposedly assisting them in getting Federal gaming licenses.

Sam Israel… Hedge fund guru who defrauded his investors out of some $450 million USD.

Gary Winnick… Global Crossings debacle mastermind. Used the company as his personal piggy bank; and his creative accounting skills to keep employees and investors in the dark even as he himself was cashing in his own Global Crossings stocks. As the company was going bankrupt he bought himself a $90 million USD estate in Bel-Air.

Marc Rich… Commodities trader who fled the US after being charged with tax evasion and making illegal oil deals with Iran during the hostage crisis of the late 1970’s. Pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office.

Pincus Green… Partner of Marc Rich, indicted for the same reasons, pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office.

Michael Milken… The infamous “Junk Bond King” of the 1980’s. Specializing in very high-risk securities, Milken and his many dupes ladened the US taxpayer with $tens of billions USD worth of debt in order to clean up the mess they left following the collapse of his financial house of cards.

Ivan Boesky… Inside trader. Fined $100 million USD for his illegal arbitrageur activities.

David Solomon… Inside trader. Took a plea bargain and was fined $8 million USD for insider trading. As part of the plea deal he agreed to testify against Michael Milken.

Martin Frankel… US financier convicted of insurance fraud, racketeering and money laundering. Swindled his customers out of an admitted $208 million USD.

Sholam Weiss… Insurance consultant. Swindled customers of National Heritage Life Insurance comapny out of an undetermined amount ($25-$250 million USD). Fled the country with much of the money. Caught in Brazil and extradited back to the US, he’s currently serving the longest prison sentence ever handed down for a white collar crime.

Martin Siegel… Inside trader. Charged with SEC violations of at least $33 million USD illegally obtained, Siegel turned state’s evidence against others similarly charged and got off with a reduced sentence.

Dennis Levine… Inside trader. Convicted of securities fraud, obstruction of justice, tax evasion and perjury, he was sentenced to two years in prison and fined.

The New Square Four: Chaim Berger, Kalmen Stern, David Goldstein, Jacob Elbaum… These gents set up a phony, non-existant Yeshiva School in Brooklyn, NY then swindled the US Federal government out of $40 million USD for various grants, loans and subsidies.

Rudlof Vrba… Fabricated a fictitious “Holocaust” memoir.

God bless bishop Williamson! A brave, truthful bishop..

What hysterical responses by the way…What about the dancing Israelis videotaping the first planes impact and afterwards saying they were sent to “document the event”..What of Odigo ( Israeli-owned ) employees getting an text msg hrs before telling them not to be in the vicinity of the WTC..What of Zim Israeli moving out just before? What of the short-selling on UA and AA stock at CIA connected brokerage firm?

And what of the Protocals? Forgeries or actual minutes of the meetings of the World Zionist Congress? Either wouldn’t surprise me..Judeo-bolsheviks killed Czar Alexander II…and perhaps they really are authentic..Why?

Well, I’ll tell you why: All the Protocals do, if you really think about it, is put the anti-gentile mentality of the Talmud and the Kabbalah into practice…those books just drip with a contempt for the “goyim”. Are they forgeries too? Or just the holiest books of modern Judaism? It’s rotten how we’re not allowed to even discuss the racial narcissism/self-worship, superstition and deceit of your religion but you can attack ours all you want…

Exactly how is that supposed to make us feel after a while?

And what of the bishops specific comments? In so far as the Jews have rejected their mission fm God: to be a bastion of mono-theism, to bring forth the Messiah AND to bring His message to all the nations of the world ( a major sticking point for the racially narcissistic Pharisees ) what direction can we reasonably expect them to go?

Having rejected the supernatural Messiah, inevitably they will work in the service of a natural messiah..That’s really just common sense and what we’ve actually seen over the last 2,000 years….Fr. Dennis Fahey covered this very well. His contemporary Count Leon dePoncins is worth mentioning also.

Interesting: “The Legendary Bill”, besides being a believer in the Protocols and in Christian triumphalism, is also a 9/11 conspiracy “truther.” These things really do run together.

Really? What did I mention of 9-11 that wasn’t true? Did I say I believed in the Protocals? Don’t the Protocals just put the anti-gentile thoughts of the Talmud and Kabbalah ( any honest reading will give that immediate impression ) into practice?

Wow, Ian hates Catholics, believes everything the govt tells him about 9-11 and can’t think an unkind thought about the spiritual descendants of the Pharisees…These things really do run together..

Is it wrong to wonder why Flt. 77 ( with the Pentagon straight ahead ) made a 180 degrees Blue Angel type of maneuver and hit the opposite side that was under construction and hardly occupied? Yeah, that makes you a truther…

Jesus Christ is God, equal to the Father in the Holy Trinity….Son of Man and Son of God…The Messiah who turned to Simon bar Jonah and said that for now on his name would be Ceipha ( Keefa, Peter..) meaning ” the rock ” …and ” upon you I will build My Church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it…”….So be it…the Founder is a Triumphalist…He is a King and heaven is a Kingdom…How can we be less?

Cool. We need more people like him to tell the truth.

Jews are spoiling chiristans & wanna hold their brains acting as jewish reborts saying yes boss we can do that ,it’s very amazing that chiristans are collecting their brains & muscles to kill their ownself by clever ideas of jews which is making christans to look like partial slaves of jew
